About Kuulei Jakubczak, CEO and Founder
Kuulei Jakubczak brings over three decades of expertise in the wireless and telecommunications industry, including 23 years with Verizon, where she pioneered roles that connected corporate initiatives with tribal interests.  As one of the few native Samoans in telecom leadership positions, she served as Verizon's National Tribal Liaison, championing tribal causes, bridging cultural gaps, and guiding complex negotiations. Her career spans over 13 years working with Tribal Governments and communities offering an understanding of the multifaceted needs within tribal and corporate partnerships.

With her extensive experience in government affairs and telecom executives sales encompassing wireless IOT solutions from healthcare, cybersecurity and energy as well as wireless network buildout, Kuulei possesses a rare combination of cultural insight and corporate acumen. She has been instrumental in navigating regulatory landscapes, securing strategic agreements, and supporting initiatives that drive economic growth within Tribal Nations. Her passion for fostering meaningful change guides every engagement, ensuring that iLUMA Connections’ clients feel informed, empowered, and ready to succeed.
